How to get to Playa Calatagan Batangas
Going to Calatagan from various points of origin would be a wonderful journey as you will be treated to a wide range of natural environment typical of Batangas scenery. Here are some of the major routes that you can take from different locations.
From Manila via Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway: This trip could take you about 3.5 hours of smooth ride from Manila to your vacation home in Calatagan. If you are either in Carlos Palanca St., San Marcelino St., or United Nations Ave. in Manila, you can take Quirino Ave. going to the SLEX (South Luzon Expressway). Take Metro Manila Skyway then back to the SLEX exiting to Greenfield Parkway in Cabuyao, Laguna. Take the Sta. Rosa Tagaytay Road to Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway in Silang Junction South (in Tagaytay). You can continue on Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway in Balayan. Then, continue on Balibago- Balayan Highway until you reach the Playa Calatagan.
From Makati / Alabang / Taguig: If you are coming from the business centers of Makati, Taguig, or Alabang, you can take the SLEX right away and follow the directions above when you start to exit to Greenfield Parkway in the Cabuyao portion of the SLEX.
From San Pablo City, Laguna: Coming from San Pablo City, you can head northwest on the Maharlika Highway to Miguel Leonor St. then continuing up to Lipa City in Batangas via the Lipa-Alaminos Road. Then, take the J.P. Laurel Highway and drive from the National Highway to Palico-Balayan-Batangas Road. Then, take the Balibago-Balayan Highway and the Calatagan-Lian Highway until you reach the Zobel Highway to Calatagan. From here, you can drive via the Calatagan Highway to the south until you reach Playa Calatagan. This route will usually take just 3 hours.
